YOGA

ABOUT THE YOGIS

  • Mary Beth LaRue is a slow flow yoga teacher, an intergrative somatic practitioner and founder of Embodied by MB based in Evergreen, Colorado. Her classes are creative, intentional and soulful, with an intentional soundtrack to bring it all together. When she’s not on her mat, you can find her hanging with her family, road tripping, writing, playing in nature or drinking a very good cup of coffee.

Her Smalltown class will set the tone for your day with a grounding and heart opening slow flow yoga practice. This all-levels practice will gently wake up your body, connect you to your breath, and get your energy flowing with mindful movement and intentional stillness.

  • Steph is our Campout for the Cause Director of Yoga and Workshops and is a yoga teacher, educator, and scientific research consultant. Steph works to empower people and experience more joy. Drawing upon her positive spirit, love of Katonah Yoga® and the constant inspiration of Nature, you can expect to learn + laugh.

In her Smalltown class, experience the magic of live music as you move through breathwork and well aligned postures. Let LVDY’s soulful sounds elevate your practice and enhance your flow, while Steph's guidance empowers you towards more peace and joy.

  • Lisa Shanken is a certified yoga teacher who has been practicing and teaching for over a decade. She is passionate about blending yoga and music, often leading classes at music festivals and large events across the country and internationally.

Her Smalltown class will allow you to awaken your body and spirit with an all-levels vinyasa flow set against the breathtaking backdrop of the mountains—an energizing, heart-opening start to your festival day, guided by the rhythm of nature and community.

  • Heath comes with 30+ years as an Exercise, Nutrition and Healthy Livin’ Guide. He helps people who are feeling their age sooner than expected, resolve their aches, pains and stresses through simple, affordable and life-changing health habits.

His Smalltown class will help you learn to move fluidly, balance musculature, and invigorate, while developing a greater attunement to your body through a combination of therapeutic exercises & stretches designed with functional patterning and ancient wisdom as it's basis. This class is derived from the foundational forces of Pilates, Yoga, Physical Therapy, and Qi Gong.

  • Guided by love, Alana's presence and teaching allows for the space to pause and listen within. With an interest in drawing awareness towards the subtle body through breath and sensation, she offers yoga classes that are accessible to people of all ages, bodies, and abilities.

Her Smalltown class will draw awareness towards the breath, as we explore slow rhythmic sun salutations and fluid ‘feel-good’ stretches, before easing into sweet Yin and Restorative shapes to calm and soothe the nervous system, in preparation for meditation. This wholehearted practice is designed to promote relief, a sense of inner spaciousness, and inspire a flow of energy and freedom through the body.

  • Out Here Yoga is a warm and vibrant yoga community located in Steamboat Springs, CO.
